A very close fought SCW District Scouts Air Rifle Shooting Competition 2017 on Sunday 26/11/17 with just 5 points splitting 3rd to 6th places, while this year the top two shooters were both Girls who finished a good 25+ points ahead of the Boys. A Scout from the 21st finished in first place and a Scout from the 1st Scouts finished in second place. Places 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th were all taken by Scouts from the 1st Scouts.

The group competition finished with the 21st retaking the trophy they last held three years ago from the 1st Scouts who finished a valiant and very close second just 6 points behind the 21st. The 2nd came third and the 10th came fourth. The Explorers finished with Explorers from Exocet taking 1st and 2nd and an Explorer from Indomitable taking 3rd. Well done to all those who took part.
